Harmonize’s controversial song ‘Uno’ is back on YouTube nearly a week after Google pulled it down following claims of copyright infringement by Kenyan music producer Magix Enga.

Magix Enga successfully petitioned Google to have ‘Uno’ pulled down from YouTube claiming that the Bongo singer sampling beats for ‘Uno’ from King Kaka’s hit song ‘Dundaing’ (which he produced) without his approval.

Harmonize through his manager Mjerumani issued a statement after the Kenyan producer successfully petitioned YouTube to delete ‘Uno’.

It seems that Harmonize and Magix Enga reached an agreement and decided to solve the issue amicably. The Kenyan producer on Monday announced that he had withdrawn his copyright claim on ‘Uno’.

‘Uno’ was ultimately re-uploaded on YouTube after Magix Enga announced that he had decided to forgive Harmonize for sampling his beats.

In a post on social media, Magix Enga said that fellow Kenyan music producer Clemo was the one who inspired him to forgive Harmonize.

“With #CLEMO @Ngomma ✌️Growth of East African music is bigger than all of us. And for this reason, I have decided that I will release my copyright strike on Uno by Harmonize.
