Shinobi Slime is a rising star in the Kenyan music scene, known for her unique blend of English and Kiswahili lyrics, electrifying performances, and fierce determination to succeed.

Born and raised in Nairobi, she spent her teenage years at boarding school in Mumias Academy before moving to Germany at the age of 13.

While living in Europe presented its fair share of challenges, Shinobi has never forgotten her roots and has remained fiercely proud of her Kenyan heritage.

For Shinobi, leaving Kenya was not an easy decision, but one that was made out of necessity. Her family was struggling to make ends meet, and the prospect of a better life in Germany was too tempting to pass up.

However, the move was not without its challenges. She struggled to adjust to her new surroundings, from the language barrier to cultural differences and everything in between.

But she is not one to give up easily. She has always known that if she wanted to make a name for herself in the music industry, she would have to work hard and overcome these obstacles. And that is exactly what she is doing.

She began writing and performing her own music in English and Kiswahili, drawing on her experiences growing up in Kenya to craft lyrics that were both authentic and relatable.

It wasn’t long before her hard work began to pay off. Her dynamic performances on stages across Europe has quickly earned her a loyal following of fans, who are drawn to her infectious energy and fierce spirit.

The music she does speaks to people from all walks of life, from those who can relate to her experiences as an immigrant in a new country, to those who simply appreciated her talent and passion for music.

Despite her success in Europe, she has always remained connected to her Kenyan heritage, keeping up with the latest developments in the Kenyan music scene.

And now, after years of living abroad, she is back home to make a name for herself in her in the Kenyan music industry.

“I need to go back home and start from scratch,” Shinobi says. “I want to show the world what Kenya has to offer and make a name for myself in my own country.”

For Slime, returning to Kenya is about more than just making a name for herself. It’s about giving back to the community that raised her, and using her platform to inspire and empower the next generation of Kenyan musicians.

She knows firsthand the challenges that young people in Kenya face, from poverty and lack of opportunities to societal expectations and gender stereotypes. She wants to be a role model for young people, showing them that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.

Shinobi’s journey is far from over. As she prepares to takeover the music industry in Kenya, she knows that there will be new challenges to overcome and new obstacles to face.

But she is more determined than ever to succeed, to make a name for herself in her own country, and to inspire the next generation of Kenyan musicians to do the same.

“I know it won’t be easy,” Shinobi opened up, “but nothing worth having ever is. I’m ready to put in the work, to hustle hard, and to make my dreams a reality. And I know that with the support of my fans and my community, anything is possible.”
