YES!! EABL is still producing Chrome Gin, despite contrary reports online that they stopped production last year in 2021.
Many users online and especially on Twitter, have been reporting that Chrome Gin products in circulation are not from EABL, Chrome Kenya and thus questioning if indeed they are legit,Β genuine and safe for human consumption.

Responding to these false updates; Chrome said that their products are still available;

EABL statement on the false and malicious comments about Chrome Gin
The East Africa Monitor says, Kenya loses more than US$250 million in income each year as a result of the production of fake alcohol using ethanol that is illegally obtained.
Alcohol and cosmetics are made from ethanol, a byproduct of the sugar production process.
