Shonisani Masuta the beautiful African actress

Shonisani Masutha has clearly proven over the years that she’s more than an actress, she can also rap and sing(not professionally but I wish she would since she’s talented and sings in Alto/Soprano) and she can also do a whole lot of different stuff apart from acting which we have come to know her with especially with her protagonist role in Zee World’s show ‘Mehek’.

The beautiful multi-talented actress who speaks Tshivenda, English, Basic: IsiXhosa, Afrikaans, and French languages who have a passion for storytelling.

Shonisani Masuta achieved an honors degree in Theatre and Performance from the University of Cape Town, Shonisani has a strong background in both stage and film acting.

Shonisani’s professional theatre debut was in a famous South African play called “Curl up & Dye” at The Rosebank Theatre in 2014, where she received outstanding reviews for her performance as Dudu.

Her television debut was in 2015, on Mzansi Magic in a feature film called “On the ropes” where she played Nandi, the daughter of a troubled boxer.

Simultaneously she featured in the final episode of a popular American television series called “Royal Pains”, playing a young African woman in distress.

Shortly afterward Shonisani was on SABC 2 in the hit South African soapie “Muvhango” in 2016, as Langanani, the chief’s potential 5th wife.

In 2017, Shonisani tackled the complex role of Lutendo in season 2 of the coveted Mzansi Magic telenovela “Ring Of Lies”.

In the year 2018, Shonisani played the role of Norah in Zee World’s show “Mehek”, a pioneering effort of integrating Bollywood and African cinema.

With experience in local and international film and having played integral roles in over 9 theatre productions, Shonisani is an exceptionally versatile actor with experience in both theatre and film, with a very bright future ahead of her.

Today is a good day since we have Shonisani Masutha as our Eye Candy for today, she has made Africans stick to their screens since “Mehek” premiered on Zee World.
