CKay, a singer from Nigeria, has landed in Nairobi, Kenya for show and Eric Omondi is not happy at all.

The Nigerian star is scheduled to perform at this year’s ‘Blanket and Wines’ concert at Kasarani Stadium.

On December 21, the Kenyan music event Blankets & Wine will return to Nairobi’s Kasarani Stadium following a three-year hiatus brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The festival will showcase musical performances from all around Africa, including Amapiano superstar Musa Keys (South Africa), Sauti Sol member Savara, and Afrobeats headliner CKay (Nigeria) (Kenya).

Musician and founder of Blankets & Wine Muthoni Drummer Queen said, “As a people, we have truly been through the wringer together, and now we are on the other side. Let’s enjoy ourselves together now. Blankets & Wine is here to help us all experience joy.”

TheOnlyRosa, R&B musicians Wendy Kay, Ethan Muziki, and Watendawili, hip hop artists Scar and Wangechi, and Afro-house DJ Suraj with Winyo and Polaris are among the Kenyan performers on the lineup.

But Eric Omondi is not happy with the arrival of CKay in Kenya. He went on record to say something slick as he threw subliminal jabs aimed at some of the top rappers in the country.
