Nigeria-based Kenyan gospel singer Emmy Kosgei has come out to implore Baringo electorates to vote for her father Bishop Jackson Kosgei who is seeking to replace Gideon Moi has the county’s next senator.

Bishop Kosgei is vying for Baringo senator on deputy president William Ruto’s party United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

Emmy Kosgei has since come out to vouch for her father, she heaped praise on her dad’s character saying he is a man who will deliver on his promises if elected Baringo senator.

“So excited and happy for my dearest father! Jackson Kosgei Bsp Emeritus and to say thank you all for your prayers and great support to him. the messages to have him take this challenge thank you all. My daddy is A very solid, focussed, resilient, determined, man, with a vision I’ve grown in so much honor and admiration to my father who has broken glass ceilings in so many ways, being abled differently he has proved indeed that it is possible,” wrote Emmy Kosgei on Facebook.

She added that;

“Rising from nothing, hopelessness, poverty in plains of Orinie Muserechi gifted and smart man gave his life to Jesus, went to school and started all over, passed with highest grades has masters now, doctorate and pursuing more, served community/church/government his last appointment being chairman of Kenya Films Commission board for two terms restoring morality on Kenyan screens.

“I can’t be more excited to see him rise to this occasion to take leadership and influence decision making that affect residents of Baringo County as the Senator. Tell someone to tell some to vote for Bishop Jackson Kosgei as the second senator of Baringo County and for the first time representing minority communities.”
