Embarambamba has revealed why he failed to work on a collaboration despite being in talks with Bongo singer Harmonize.
In an interview with Radio Jambo on June 26, the singer admitted that in Kenya he has not been able to feature any famous artistes in his music but claimed that he was on the verge of collaborating with Harmonize.
Embarambamba said that Harmonize promised him a collabo when he was in Kenya but did not get the time to get in studio with him.
“Kutoka Kenya wale wasanii wakubwa hatujafanya collabo na wao , lakini ni ile Harmonize alikuja Kenya akasema anataka kufanya collabo na mimi halafu akanipigia simu akaniambia ako na kazi nyingi wacha arudi Tanzania ata organize,” Embarambamba said.
He went on to admit that he has already collaborated with several vernacular musicians from across different communities.
“Lakini hawa wasanii wadogowadogo makabila nimefanya collabo na wao wengi. Nimefanya na msanii mmoja kutoka Kalenjin kwa President,saa hii wimbo tulifanya iko 2 million, kuna mwingine Kalenjin hapo wa Gospel, huyo ni mwanamuziki tulifanya, kuna mwingine wa Gospel, wimbo yake iko 1 million point na huyu wa huko Nandi Eldoret hii tulitoa ya juzi inasema ‘Nataka Nikuingize Ndani‘ pia hiyo ilisonga sana.”
