Drake’s father Dennis Graham traveled to Canada for the first time in 15 years to reunite with the rapper’s mother Sandra and other family members.

The Canadian rapper has been spending his time between US and Canada where his dad and mom live respectively.

Drake recently took to social media to express his joy after his dad traveled to Canada for a family reunion.

He share a photo of his father Dennis Graham and mother Sandra together, along with announcing his dad was allowed entry into Canada for the first time in “over 15 years.”

“First time in over 15 years they let the OG back into Canada. Thank you to everyone that helped us out,” Drake wrote.

Drake, who is now 37 years old, has not been able to have his father visit him in Canada for, at least, 15 years, presumably over a legal matter.

Drake’s father was in and out of his son’s life due to run-ins with the law.

In an interview with The Fader, Dennis recalls he and Drake taking road trips from Toronto, Canada to Memphis, USA in the summer, starting when his son was five years old.  These trips happened until he turned 17.
