DJ Joe Mfalme quits Capital FM after 12 long years

DJ Joe Mfalme has made the decision to leave Capital FM after working there for 12 long years.

The veteran deejay made the decision to leave the radio station to venture into new horizons and challenges ahead of him that will help him grow as a brand.

DJ Joe Mfalme real name Joseph Mwenda bid farewell to his loyal fans, close friends, and of course his family after working with Capital FM for a period of 12 years.

“I would like to thank the Capital FM Kenya family for giving an opportunity to a young man from Meru who had dreams and ambitions of entertaining people through the art of Deejaying.” DJ Joe Mfalme’s official statement read in part.

Mfalme gave his eternal gratitude to Capital FM for believing in him for more than 10 years as he plans for his future endeavors.

“I have made some of my best memories working for Capital FM Kenya and I will eternally be grateful to them for the growth and opportunity awarded to me,” he added.

DJ Joe Mfalme who said there’s a lot more to expect from him after leaving the capital show used to bring ‘Hits Not Homework’ show that has since been canceled and of course the Big Bounce show.

DJ Joe Mfalme promised to announce major announcements in the near future as he plans to expand his horizons.

“It is time for me to expand my horizons. Major announcement coming soon.” he concluded.

The deejay hasn’t said anything about leaving behind his slot as the DJ for DSTV’s hit show “The TurnUp’ that he usually co-hosts with his long-term friend, Amina Abdi.

So to his fans nationwide, DJ Joe Mfalme is here to stay, at least in the entertainment scene.
