Bahati and his baby mama Yvette Obura have not been in good terms for a long time, the two share a daughter Mueni who was born sometimes in 2015.
Bahati and his baby mama have had friction ever since she got pregnant with their daughter. In a past interview with Heads Up, Yvette disclosed that Bahati was not pleased that she got pregnant for him. She revealed that singer cheated on him while she was pregnant leading to their breakup.
“I started dating Bahati way before he became a celebrity in 2011 and we were in a serious relationship for five years.
The relationship was good until when I got pregnant and things started changing. We did not expect the baby but I decided to keep it.
That is when we started to grow apart and the relationship was no longer what it was. He cheated on me. I never aborted and I was never a groupie as some of the blogs say,” said Yvette Obura.
The two however got over their issues for the sake of their daughter. Bahati’s wife Diana Marua recently revealed that she has allowed her husband to communicate with his baby mama.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, Diana explained that she allowed Bahati and Yvette to communicate for the sake of their daughter Mueni.
“Bahati was really open with me when we got into a relationship with the fact that he has a daughter somewhere. Of course, I knew what I got myself into.
I was not having the thoughts of how baby mama relationships are with the current girlfriend, that was not in my mind, I was like we will deal with it the way it comes.
The fact that they have a daughter together, they have to communicate. It’s all about Mueni. She needs basic needs and its the baby being taken care of,” said Diana Marua.
Diana further clarified that she has no beef whatsoever with Yvette, she revealed that they also communicate on occasions.
