3 mins read

Diamond Platnumz has achieved another win on his lucrative illustrious music career.

The father of 3 has officially become the first East, and Central African artiste to have surpassed over 5 million subscribers on YouTube.

There’s nobody who is even coming close to dethrone him anytime soon because the gap is so big, way too big.

Diamond Platnumz real name Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack currently boasts of over 5 million subscribers on YouTube with the number exponentially growing on a daily basis.

The Bongo Flava recording artiste who isn’t only a musician but also an actor, dancer, and businessman from Tandale, Dar es Salaam might be the most subscribed singer on YouTube but he’s followed by his Wasafi artiste.

Coming in at a distant second place is Rayvanny with slightly 2.6 million subscribers, with former WCB signed artiste, Harmonize with 2.4 million Subscribers, Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo with 1.6 million subscribers, WCB signed artistes Mbosso, Zuchu, and Lava Lava with 1.37 million, 1.03 million, and 904K Subscribers respectively.

Alikiba comes right after the WCB signed artistes with over 775K subscribers.

Alikiba has over the years been switching his YouTube accounts, he hasn’t been consistently using one YouTube channel, if he would have been using one YouTube channel, probably he would have had slightly over a million YouTube subscribers, probably even more.

Aslay and Sauti Sol have 765K, and 725K YouTube subscribers respectively.

Diamond Platnumz might be the King of East Africa thanks to his unique numbers that he’s been pulling on YouTube streams but he’s most definitely not the King of entire Sub-Saharan Africa, he’s almost there though if YouTube Subscribers and YouTube streams are in consideration.

When we bring it down a notch in Kenya Sauti Sol leads with the highest YouTube subscribers with 725K Subscribers.

Otile Brown comes in second with 699K, Willy Paul 635K, Bahati 577K, Khaligraph Jones 431K, Nyashinski 384K, Nadia Mukami 336K, King Kaka 287K, Femi One 200K, Octopizzo 189K subscribers.

Away from music, Churchill show 1.61 Million, Njugush (470K), The WaJesus Family (381K), , Jalang’o 353K, Abel Mutua (193K).
