Bridget Shighadi is over the moon about seeing her face painted out of love on a matatu.

For an artiste, artist, personality and/or actor to get their picture drawn on a matatu means a big achievement and it’s a praise of being accepted by the greater majority, plus it’s somewhat a free advertisement.

Established entertainers like Khaligraph Jones, Sauti Sol, Azziad Nasenya, Raila Odinga, Uhuru Kenyatta, even Trio Mio have both been feted with the honor of having their murals drawn on matatus.

Not taking the gesture for granted, Bridget Shighadi took to social media to express her gratitude.

Shighadi who is the wife to yet another talented actor, Nick Mutuma opened up about getting raised in a small town where achieving what she’s achieved in the entertainment scene was nothing but a mere dream but through prayers, hard work, patience and believing and having faith in God, she’s managed to fulfill her dream/s.

Today’s eye candy: actor and fashionista, Bridget Shighadi

She’s humble to have her first matatu mural.

“Born and raised in a small town where fulfilling my dreams seemed like a pie in the sky ..to witness today an image of me drawn over a Bus in this big beautiful city of Nairobi is so unreal in so many different ways.

In complete humbleness, it takes nothing but hard work, patience, and having faith in God. I hope one day I can use my space to communicate this to our youth. 🙏🏽 #Grateful” she shared on social media.
