President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday, August 22nd led the nation in commemorating the 41st anniversary since the death of his father and Kenya’s first President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.

Uhuru laid a wreath at Jomo Kenyatta Mausoleum next to parliament buildings before attending a memorial mass that was held at the Holy Family Minor Basilica in Nairobi.

Boniface Mwangi: If John De Mathew hadn’t been behind the wheel while drunk, he wouldn’t be dead today

Boniface Mwangi has come out to demand the exhumation of Jomo Kenyatta’s body on grounds that the first president is to be blamed for graft that is still bedeviling Kenya to date.

The controversial Rights Activist wants Kenyatta’s body to be exhumed from parliament premise and reburied at his Ichaweri village in Kiambu county.

Taking to social media, Boniface wrote;

Take Kenyatta’s body to his village in Ichaweri, Kiambu, the house that peasants fundraised to buy land and build for him. Kenyatta left prison a poor man and died a billionaire.
Here are my reasons why that body should be removed from parliament road;

1. Traitor. He killed the independence dream, betrayed freedom fighters.

2. He was a murderer, killed Gen. Baimungi, Pinto, Mboya, Fred Kubai, JM Kariuki etc.
3. He was a thief, he stole over 500,000 acres of land.
4. He entrenched tribalism.
5. He allowed his family to poach our elephants.
6. He banned the Mau Mau movement and gave away the land they fought for to the homeguards.

Kenya is today govenored by sons of homeguards and thieves courtesy of Kenyatta 1, he was landgrabber number 1, a tribalist and a murderer. He planted the seeds of corruption and state capture, our country’s poverty can be traced back to how he betrayed our independence.Let’s turn the mausoleum into a heroes museum of the real freedom fighters who fought, bled and died for our independence.Please post on the comment sections your reasons why that body should be removed from the heart of our city and taken to his village home in Kiambu.
