Azziad Nasenya says her success wasn’t luck, it was meant to be

Azziad Nasenya is one person who is grateful for the year 2020, I mean don’t get me wrong, the year has been filled with scandals, the coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic, the Black Lives Matter matches and all other mentionable things going on that has made 2020 a challenging year for everybody.

Azziad Nasenya remains to be the happiest person in 2020 after her career kicked off after she blew the internet up with her ‘Utawezana’ dance that made a name for her.

Right now, Nasenya who also survived online bullying is a host of a cooking show together with Mulamwah, she makes a special appearance on Maisha Magic East’s TV Show, Selina, she’s a brand ambassador on numerous businesses and she commands a huge following on social media.

Let’s just say Azziad Nasenya had and still continues to have the wonderful year 2020 which most people might want to credit sheer luck as the cause of her majestic success.

Well, Azziad Nasenya doesn’t agree with it one bit.

Azziad Nasenya took to social media and explained that it has always been rough coming up as an actor always asking her followers to come to support her where she was performing in the theatre.

Many have thought and still think that whatever happened to me was by luck” she said, “I don’t think it is, I believe it’s God, it’s all on Him. I had been struggling for the longest time with
school, theatre, short films, and auditions.” she went on.

“Well not really struggling but nothing was working out perfectly and matching the energy that I was keeping in all that and till date, I believe His timing was perfect and I am so humbled and grateful.

Before her success, Azziad remembers she almost gave up on her dream of becoming an actor but didn’t know God already had already set plans in motion to see her win and succeed in her path.

Azziad on her future

“I am not saying that I am now perfect and I have made it, no! I am just so grateful of the blessings that the Lord brought my way this year.

Only He knows and knew the kind of work I put in everything. It hasn’t been an easy journey but I can really confess that He has been faithful and I am a living proof.”

Azziad Nasenya who is the most followed TikTok user in Kenya says that she’s far from reaching and living her dream but she’s grateful, humble of how far she has come from and she always prays to God to always bless her with humility despite the success that is inevitably coming her way so that she doesn’t forget where she came from.

“I haven’t even gotten anywhere near where I want to be but I am grateful for all that has come my way.

“Guide me and bless me with humility” has always been my prayer” she added.
