Florybert Senge Kisanga was born in Bukavu Congo to a family of eight him being the first born,he developed a keen interest in music at the age of 10 years old. His voice matured at a catholic choir where an Italian priest trained him to sing and he learned to play guitar from a neighbor who was a bachelor he did chores for him and in return he taught him how to play the guitar.
Although by 2012 he was a growing brand at home he met a man who told him he stood a better chance in music if he came to Nairobi,he sold his personal stuff to get the money to travel and off his journey started.When he arrived in Nairobi he was hosted by fellow Congolese friends,He later found his way to main switch records where he recorded his first song ‘Uzuri wako’.

The rest is history,Red Pen which is a symbolic to mean music that corrects the ways of man,he his currently signed under THE BMG EMPIRE and already has an EP set to be released soon,through his song ‘Nionekanie’ Red pen has proven that he is a force to reckon with in the regions gospel circles
