Taboo? Akothee to stay with mzungu lover Omondi in her ancestral home after their wedding

Akothee and her Swiss lover Omondi are set to get married in 2023 after being forced to postpone their wedding which was earlier scheduled for December 2022.

The controversial singer recently revealed that she will stay with Omondi in her ancestral home in Rongo, Migori county after their wedding next year – contrary to Luo tradition where women move to their husband’s home after the wedding.

“Sometimes I think it’s a dream, I have pinched myself several times, so it’s true you are mine? And relocated with me right back to the village.

I really had enough of Mombasa then when I was just about to retire alone, then boom God’s miracle. Love you King OMOSH,” Akothee wrote.

Akothee has been dating Omondi since July 2022 even though she only introduced him to her fans in September 2022.

Omondi met Akothee through a mutual friend in Switzerland and he ultimately won her heart and made her his girlfriend on July 16, 2022.
