Rapper A-Q secures two nominations at the AFRIMAs

Multi-award-winning rapper Gilbert Bani professionally known as A-Q in the music circles has scooped up two nominations at the 2021 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMAs).

A-Q has been honored with nominations for Best African Artiste, Rapper or Lyricist as well as Best Artiste Duo or Group in African Hip Hop with Chiké.

His song ‘Breathe’ that features Chiké was the song that landed his two nominations at the forthcoming AFRIMAs.

Celebrating musical excellence and creativity across the continent, the All African Music Awards will once again exhibit the multi-faceted and rich cultural diversity of African music.

“Thank you to everyone that has voted and will vote, Let us bring this home,” expresses A-Q after learning about his two stellar nominations.

The ‘Breathe’ record was taken from his latest studio project dubbed ‘Golden’ released in May 2021.

A-Q’s latest offering Golden was released in May 2021 this to a critical claim and followed in the step of his 2020 studio album dubbed ‘God’s Engineering’.

With his highly impeccable penmanship and hunger to continually push the envelope a lot can be expected from A-Q going forward.

With another project earmarked to drop in the last quarter of the year.
