Ugandan opposition leader Dr. Kizza Besigye has been sworn in as the president of the landlocked country.
The swearing-in ceremony was presided over by a Ugandan judge who administered the presidential oath.
The incumbent President Museveni won the disputed presidential elections but Besigye and his supporters believed Museveni stole the election.
Museveni was scheduled to be sworn in on May 12th 2016 but Besigye camp was fast to swear in Uganda’s rightful president today.
