This without many words portrays how far we have come as a country and specifically in our law and order maintainers (the police) for a long time there has been debate as to the credibility of the Kenya police, they have been accused of many things such as corruption, favorism amongst other things and this has led the public to lack confidence in their work hence the need for reforms in that sector.

Babu Owino was arrested for assaulting his opponent Mike Jacobs on the last SONU elections.

It’s a common myth that has gained popularity within this country that there are some untouchables who are above the law and that can’t be arrested no matter how many times they break the law however with the arrest of Babu Owino proves that we are slowly but surely moving away from the common myth. Kudos!  Kenya police, we are getting somewhere, let’s make Kenya a better place.

Moral of this is no matter who you are or whatever position you hold in this country you are not above the law and thus don’t break it otherwise the long arms of the law shall catch up with you. You may just find yourself locked up at the heart of the slums in korogocho police post.

Hongera Polisi!
