The head of state, President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta on Friday, February 12 dared his Deputy William Kipchirchir Samoei Arap Ruto and MPs allied to him to resign instead of constantly criticizing the government that they’re a part of.

The President of the great Republic who was speaking after launching Muthua Health Centre in Uthiru referred to instances where Ruto’s allies have openly criticized him and the government on a number of issues.

“We need to either work together or not. If they feel that the government is favorable to them, then they should work with us but if they want to seclude themselves from it, then let them resign,” the president stated.

President Uhuru Kenyatta also addressed Kenyans in attendance and talked to them directly and urged them to stop getting used by politicians to perpetuate their selfish propaganda that might cause disarray in the country in the long run.

“You keep being lied to by politicians who come here saying that they love you and ask you to abuse other people.

Is that the way in which we are going to grow this country? kindly let us think about what we are told to do,” he added.

Miguna Miguna believes Raila Odinga will be betrayed again in 2022

This is the second time in a week President Uhuru is criticizing Deputy President’s allies.

A few days ago on February 11, during his Nairobi CBD tour, the President disclosed that some of the leaders who are respected and well known in the country were misusing their position of power to harass and mistreat Kenyans stressing that that is one of the many things he’s trying to change before he leaves office in 2022.

“My aim is to ensure that all who will take from me will not be thieves and harass citizens.

My aim is to make sure that they will have the urge to unite the country.

Tell those who are insulting me, I do not care. My purpose is to serve Kenyans. I will ensure I fulfill my promise to them,” said President Uhuru Kenyatta.
