Diamond Platnumz has come out to speak on the punitive ban slapped on Wasafi TV by Tanzania Communication Regulatory Authority (TCRA).
TCRA said Diamond-owned Wasafi TV violated broadcasting regulations during the Tumewasha Festival by airing Gigy Money’s near-naked performance.
The controversial singer performed at Tumewasha Festival in Dodoma in a sheer bodysuit that gave revelers an unparalleled view of her body.

Diamond fired subliminal shots at TCRA’s acting director Johannes Kalungule while speaking on Wasafi TV’s six month ban.
The Bongo singer made veiled attack at Kalungule saying that he was using his position to bring others down.
“Mwenyez Mungu amekupa nafasi ili nawe kuwapa wenzio fursa waweze kujikwamua kimaisha….sio kila utaempa nafasi atakuletea Matokea Chanya ….Usihuzunike, kubaliana na hilo na uendelee kutoa Misaada, kuwapenda na kuwaheshimu wote 🙏🏼,” wrote Diamond on Instagram.
