Kanze Dena speaks on how Rose Muhando impacted her life with her songs

Kanze Dena credits Rose Muhando for inspiring her during low moments in life. The State House spokesperson says the Tanzanian gospel singer gave her hope through her singing.

Life has not always been a bed of roses for Kanze Dena. She became a mother at an early age and did menial jobs just to make ends meet.

While struggling to get a better life for herself and her son, Dena got inspired to keep pushing on by the message in Rose Muhando’s songs.

While addressing congregation at reverend Lucy Natasha’s Prophetic Latter Glory Ministry International church, Kanze Dena said she would break down and weep whenever she listened to Mundo’s ‘Nipe Uvumilivu’ hit song.

“I want to speak about two things, one to Rose Muhando and I want to use her as an example. When I was a young girl I always listened to Rose’s songs. I listened to her music a lot when I was going through hardships,” Kanze said.

Kanze Dena also spoke on Rose Muhando’s recent tribulations (the Bongo singer was sick for a while, controversial preacher James Ng’ang’a claimed he exorcised demons out of her). Dena assured Muhando that her past will remain in her past and better things are still yet to come.
