Raila Odinga And His Brigade Briefly Brings Activities In Parliament To A Standstill (Photos)

Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula, Governors Hassan Joho (Mombasa), Amason Kingi (Kilifi) and other Cord legislators today stormed parliament to witness the swearing in of Malindi MP elect Hon Willy Baraka Mtengo.

Mr. Mtengo won the recently concluded Malindi by-election by a landslide; he garnered 15,582 votes against Philip Charo of JAP who had 9,243 votes.

The Cord brigade had earlier visited IEBC offices following the lapse of the ten day notice given by the Commission for verification of Okoa Kenya signatures.

Addressing members of the fourth estate, Cord leaders assured Governor Joho of their unwavering support following government intimidations.

Joho claims Uhuru’s government is targeting him for steering the opposition to victory in Malindi. Jubilee tried to woo Joho to their side but the Mombasa governor has proved his loyalty in opposition can’t be bought with any amount.
