Kenya singer Phyllis Ng’etich popularly known as Phy announced she was pregnant in early September shortly after celebrating her graduation.
Phy graduated from the University of Nairobi with a degree in Real Estate studies, she flaunted her baby bump just weeks after her graduation.
Many people thought Phy would be taking a break from music now that she is expectant but alas, she hit the stage at Tusker Oktoba Fest held at the Ngong Racecourse grounds in Nairobi on October 5th 2019.
The heavily pregnant singer took her fans by surprise when she performed on high heels and danced for close to an hour in her condition.

Phy herself was equally astonished by her performance which also proved no woman is limited. The expectant mother took recently took to social media to reminisce about her Oktoba Fest performance.
“I probably was having a moment crying here. This past Saturday was surreal for me performing at Tusker Oktoba Fest. I never thought I’d be on stage with a 7 month old bump on high heels and dancing for close to an hour. Not for those facts but because I’ve had to hurt and fight through fear and the many voices that told me my dream had to die because of the journey I’m on. I’m here to just say that I’m no superwoman and I don’t want to be seen as one. The point is to declare God’s strength is sufficient through the toughest of times, always. If your purpose denied you the validations of fame or pleasure and met you with hostility, would you still see it through?” wrote Phy.
