Joyce Gituro is the mother figure who mentored and guided gospel trio Willy Paul, Bahati and Weezdom before they all became rich and famous.
Gituro, who worked as head of radio at Royal Media Services’ Radio Citizen, opened up about the role she played in the three musicians’ rise to fame in a post on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Gituro shared a photo she posed with Bahati, Willy Paul and Weezdom and went on to reveal that the trio have been through her hands as they scaled the heights of music.
“These are my sons, wamepitia mikononi mwangu in their journey to fame. I thank God for them @bahatikenya @weezdom254 and @willy_paul_msafi,” wrote Joyce Gituro in part.
Gituro further said that she was very proud of her sons’ accomplishments in the music industry, she however asked Kenyans not to judge her sons.
“It feels good when you see your babies grow and become responsible citizens. Please don’t judge any of my sons, God is dealing with them and sooner or later, we shall have a testimony! #MyDayToday #LovingMySons,” wrote Gituro.
