Gor Mahia FC’s number one fan, Jared Otieno popularly known as Jaro Soldier was arrested today for allegedly assaulting a club official.
Jaro is accused of staging assault on Gor Mahia’s Organizing Secretary, David Kilo, after the club lost to Madagascar’s CNaPs 2-1 in CAF tournament at Nyayo Stadium on February 13th 2016.
Jaro was arrested and held at Nyayo Stadium police post before he was transferred to Langata police station where he was booked and grilled.
Jaro was later released on a Kes Ksh20, 000 cash bail as he waits the hearing of his case in the court of law.
Jaro admits he was present when Gor’s Organizing Secretary was being ruffed by angry fans following the lose to a Madagascan club but denies ever participating in attacking him.
