President Uhuru Kenyatta invites Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu To Kenya After Visiting Him In Israel Last Week

Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu plans to visit African for the upcoming 40th anniversary of an Israeli operation that freed hostages aboard a plane in Uganda during Idi Amin’s regime in the 1970s.

Netanyahu’s brother, Yonatan Netanyahu, was killed in the July 1976 commando raid in Entebbe airport, Uganda, which was meant to free 250 passengers aboard an Air France plane hijacked by Palestinian terrorists.

The premier’s office has confirmed they had received invitations from the President Uhuru’s government and other African leaders imploring the Israeli prime minister to visit their countries.

It was only last week that President Uhuru flew to Israel for a 3 day state visit where he stopped by various historical sites in Jerusalem and also signed a number of deals with Israeli government.
