Is It Racism or Impunity?William Ruto’s Pilot Threatens To Beat Up a Kenyan Policewoman

A video showing Deputy President William Ruto’s pilot harassing a female police officer, has stirred an online storm with Kenyans demanding the deportation of the Briton.

In the clip shared widely on social media, the pilot is seen violently pushing the police officer while ordering her to do her work.

The DP’s pilot is heard telling the cop to push away the crowd gathering close to where the helicopter had parked.

He further threatens the woman that if she does not do her job, she would have to explain the matter to the DP.

“Do your job, okay? Tell these people to move back. Cause then you will explain to the DP,” the pilot vents.

The incident which happened last Sunday in Ndunyu Njeru, Nyandarua County, where Ruto was attending a church service, has sparked an online contention under the hashtag #DeportRutosPilot.

Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinett has ordered immediate investigations and commencement of criminal proceedings against the suspect.

According to a statment from the IG released on Tuesday morning, the pilot has also been ordered to surrender to the nearest police station
