Universal Music Group has offered Vanessa Mdee a huge lucrative recording contract that she couldn’t say no to.
“We’ve seen huge success with Latin music going global and we believe the same can happen with African music,” Adam Granite Universal Music executive VP of market development shared.
This signing comes at a time when the record label is pushing its penetration in Africa, a move which has seen some Nigerian musicians signing deals with the label earlier.
Vanessa is expected to take Tanzania and Africa as a continent to the international stage as a result of this deal.
The Tanzanian eye candy and melanin-drippin’ petite pretty musician recently had a huge tour “In love and Money” a tour which saw her electric performance thrilling her fans together with her off and on boyfriend Juma Jux.
