If you have listened to the popular African collaboration ‘Yanje’ record as performed by Nigeria’s Seyi Shay and Ommy Dimpoz of Tanzania, then you will agree with me that Alka productions’ musical figure J Psalms has done a tremendous job with the cover of the record dubbed WE NDO MKE WANGU.

Hardly do covers surpass the original limits but on this one, it appears J Psalms went on way too close to outshining the original version of the record. Let’s just say he could have overtaken the two superstars were it not for just but a pinch of leniency.

In this new cover song, the promising Kenyan singer begins with a good-to-go harmony completed by great introductory tune blending well with the lovely storyline dominated by the utmost level of romantic cues and great imaginary serenade.

Gifted J Psalms has a unique voice and ability to exhaust his vocal range to meet up the instrumental needs.

The video of this cover song is done in a modest setting of an average family woman taking up normal household chores. I  must say the script lifts the song even a notch higher and makes you want to fall in love the right way with your soulmate.
