Governor for Machakos County, Dr. Alfred Mutua yesterday offered to give Gor Mahia a whooping 500k shillings if they could have beat Hull City at Kasarani Stadium which was full to capacity.
“If you have never watched Gor Mahia play, you would not understand how good they are. I am rooting for Gor in today’s match against Hull City. Win and come for a 500k shillings from me. #HullCityInKenya” he tweeted.
As everybody knows, the game ended in penalty 4-3 with Hull City FC emerging the victors.
This however did not deter Alfred Mutua from giving his promise but only this time he decided to give out 300k shillings after Gor Mahia played a good game.
“Good job Gor Mahia. You played well and the game could have gone either way. A match that ends in penalties means that both teams are evenly matched. Very proud of you. Najivunia kuwa Mkenya. Come for 300k shillings. #HullCityInKenya” he continued
It has not however been confirmed if Gor Mahia has received the money that the governor who wants to vie for Presidential election had pledged.
