Shrap which is somewhat an acronym coined from sh-meaning sheng and trap-well that’s from trap meaning that Shrap is all about trap music(especially rap music) that it’s all about
sheng which is slang in Kenya.
Shrap Nite was established to push Kenyan musician to their artistic heights without sponsors.
“We established our own platform by Introducing Shrap Nite which is a night full of performances from Established and Upcoming Music Atists in the Entertainment Industry without no sponsors.” – Shrap Nite representative said
Shrap Nite turned one year old late last year on 16th December 2017 where performances from Steph Kapella, Barak Jacuzzi, Jovie Jovv, Raj, AD Family, Moonboy Ke, Dj Slim B, Dj Mawinch, Siq Kenya, Thee Kane and Boondocks Gang graced the stage.
Well, a movie is about to happen yet again on February 3rd 2018 where another Shrap Nite is going to happen for only Kes. 500 with performances from AD Family , Le Band , Jovie Jovv , Dj Mandy , Monski , Iamreiu, Kapella(formerly Coola Gang), Funk Avenue 254 will be gracing the stage.
