The pontiff doesn’t like the expensive European-made sports car. Pope Francis was on Wednesday November 15th given a Kes 22.5 million Lamborghini Huracan by Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali.
The Pope received the Italian-made sport car outside the Casa Santa Marta, the guesthouse within the Vatican where he lives.

Pope Francis however will not be driving the sports car. He blessed the white-painted Lamborghini Huracan and put his signature on its bonnet before the car was taken away.

The Vatican announced that the Italian sport car will be auctioned at Sotheby’s. The proceeds will go to three of charities chosen by the Pope.
The fund will be used to rebuild homes and churches for Christians chased out of Iraq by Islamic State terrorists. The rebuilding efforts will be focused on the Nineveh Plains, north-east of Mosul, where Christians were forced to flee years of fighting.
