Former Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale faced off with police during a raid at his rural home on Tuesday October 24th.
Police officers raided Bonny’s Malinya home claiming that he was in possession of tyres meant to light bonfires during the October 26 planned Nasa demonstrations.
The police officers clashed with the former senator when they failed to produce a search warrant issued by the court.
“Amazing! 4 police vehicles (2 land rovers & 2 trucks) with police have just stormed my Malinya home in Kakamega demanding to search it!” Bonny Khalwale tweeted.
The raid at Bonny’s home comes after the seasoned politician posted a photo of a thug who was set ablaze by a mob. The mob used tyre to burn the thief.
