Nasa countrywide demonstrations turned bloody on Friday 13th October. Police used live rounds while quelling Nasa demonstrations in Bondo, Siaya County.
At least three Nasa protestors were killed in cold blood by the police during the demonstrations in Bondo. Bodies of the three were ferried in a cart to the mortuary amid protests from residents.
Bondo is the home town of Nasa leader Raila Odinga. The police killings come a day after acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i banned daily Nasa demonstrations in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu CBD.
