Nasa leader reiterated that Canaan is for every Kenyan even team mafisi. Raila affirmed this during an interview with Yvonne Okwara Matole on KTN News on Tuesday 12th September, 2017.
Raila Odinga did not only tackle real issues during his interview at KTN, he also had time to respond to jokes about the promised Canaan.
“People make fun out of this (Canaan) meaning that they believe in it, they were very so passionate, when we get to Canaan we will be different things, there will be diversity in Canaan, there will be Thessalonians, there will be Wagalileo – those ones the Abaluhyas,” Raila responded to Kenyans jokes about Canaan.
The Cord leader also revealed he was flooded with Canaan jokes on text on August 8th when Kenyans went to cast their votes.
“I received a lot of comments like on the polling day on the 8th, early in the morning at 5 o’clock i got a lot of messages ‘we have started the journey to Canaan, we are already crossing river Jordan, of course people wanted change,” Raila said.
