Daniel Arsham has finally unveiled his collaborative sneakers with Adidas Original New York that is set to be officially released on July 20th 2017. His choice of color in chalk white color is somewhat a trip to memory lane of Arsham’s past work like that he did for Fieg’s Kith stores.
The New York is presented in a “deteriorated” canvas upper with frayed edges in a completely tonal white colorway. Subtle and even hidden details are then added, with dual branding on the top of the tongues with screenprinted ‘Daniel Arsham’ and ‘Past’ details on the underside, and the model’s classic dellinger mesh midsole treated with an ultraviolet ink print that reads “THE PAST IS PRESENT” when hit with UV light. The Daniel Arsham x adidas Originals New York will release July 20th in very limited quantities at select retailers around the world at a price of $180.
