Dawit Tsege was born in Ethiopia, in the northern part of Shewa. During early age, he was between jobs; being the jack of all trades the master of none.
But music has been the center of everything in his life. He came to Addis Ababa to start his education at the elementary level at Bitweded Elementary School and secondary education at Kara Alo.
He had ample practice and exposure to the music world especially at parents’ day in school.
Dawit Tsee, later on, managed to develop his skills and perform to a vast number of audiences where he became comfortable performing for a large audience.
In 2015, he was able to won Balageru Idol show, which is Ethiopian Singing and Dancing competition series created by Abraham Wolde (Famous Ethiopian music producer) and produced by Balageru Records collaborated with EBC.
The incidence at Balageru Idol changed everything forever. It gave him a lifetime experience and opportunity to be a better person and an improved musical personality which helped him establish a connection to the outside world.
