Habida who is a Kenyan, Irish and English with Somali descent musician, writer, actress and performer. After her worldly trotting, studying music and kick starting her career in music, she relocated to Kenya in 2007.
Soon after that she released the MTV award-winning single SUNSHINE featuring legendary artiste Nameless. It’s instant success was followed by the releases: ‘Kesho’, ‘Get Down Tonight’ and ‘My Reason’.
Habida has since collaborated with several artistes including Hussein Machozi, Cannibal, Iyanya and Ice Prince. Additional to her debut album ‘I LOVE YOU’, Habida has an EP out. In 2017, she will be keeping a busy music calendar and promises to release more singles as a build up to the release of her sophomore album, and concert staging.
MTV-award winning Kenyan songbird has released her new single ‘African Man’. This follows up as her second single to be released this calendar year with her previous track ‘Sweet Love’ showing her solid entrance back into the music scene.
