Jackline Mwende made headlines after her husband Stephen Ngila chopped her limbs for failing to bear a child for him.
But good samaritans have come to the rescue of Mwende. Taita-Taveta Women Representative Joyce Lay, Nominated MP Sanjeev K. Birdi and officials from German organization ‘Merck More Than a Mother’, gave her a house and a mini supermarkert.
It will be called the “Zawadi mini supermarket”.
They also gifted Jackline with a four roomed house,already installed with solar power and a water tank.
It is built on her father’s land.
