Back in the day, we came to love and be part of Nonini’s fans (you can’t and will never say that you were not his fan) because of his boldness in the music industry which was conserved and shunned away from tackling lungula issues head-on.
Nonini came to grace our screens through ‘Manzi Wa Nairobi’ and everybody fell in love with the song, by everybody I mean everybody.
Wahu came in to the music industry at around that same time and through her music, young girls were empowered.
Heck! Even the lyrics of her song ‘Liar’ was published in a K.I.E approved education English book which even I got to read it not so long ago when I was still in High School.
Fast forward to today and pretty much everything has changed and in so doing, these two great artistes have accomplished unimaginable things individually but first, we have to relieve the moment when they first started this musical career together.
It’s only fitting for us to share this picture of them together today is a Throw Back Thursday or popularly known as TBT.
