The country has once again been treated to a rare spectacle and drama at the burial of the husband to former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti when Nairobi senator Mike Sonko sensationally claimed the third command.
Sonko breached the protocol and installed himself at the top of the hierarchy.
When handed the microphone to address the mourners, Sonko refused to give it back saying no one should speak after him.
He further claimed that because Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto are both out of the country, he was therefore third in command.
We have established that William Ruto was in Baringo county.
His actions accessioned delay in the program as the bereaved mourners and other dignitaries watched in dismay with CORD principals leaving the stadium.
