CORD co-principals Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka have been accused of holding secret meetings conspiring against Raila Odinga
The two have reportedly been meeting secretly hatching a plan to bypass CORD leader Raila Odinga in the identification of the flag bearer.
The reports indicate that the two are plotting a scheme to ensure one of them competes with President Uhuru Kenyata in the 2017 general elections.
The leaders are said to have been holding secret meetings which have led to the wide speculations claiming they are conspiring against ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
Ford Kenya leader Wetangula and his Wiper counterpart Kalonzo, however, dismissed the claims denying the reports and speculations.
Kalonzo termed the speculations as “unfounded falsehoods” saying that the principals meet regularly for consultations.
“I am aware of the conspiracy claims but they are all lies. We are united to send this Jubilee government home since it has only excelled in tribalism and epic corruption,” Kalonzo said.
The co-principals have each indicated of becoming the presidential candidate in the 2017 elections, showing interest in compelling Raila Odinga to rally support behind them.
