Heavily Pregnant police officer at Pangani police station wearing teargas canisters on her neck got a surprise baby shower.
A picture of a heavily pregnant police officer with teargas canisters around her neck at Pangani Police Station caused a stir online with Kenyans keen to figure out her identity.
She was later identified as Constable Agatha Wairimu.
After her picture was published on one of the local dailies an aspiring women representative Milicent Omanga decided to throw Wairimu a surprise baby shower at the police station.
Aspiring Nairobi women representative Milicent Omanga organised the shower after seeing her viral photo to appreciate her work.
Omanga said she appreciated Wairimu for helping quell the chaos at Pangani police station saying it was not easy for her in her condition.
“This is just a gesture to appreciate our female police officers. This officer has done us proud and showed us that women put in a lot of effort to their work” Omanga said
