Drama was witnessed yesterday at Senate’s Public Accounts Committee when Nairobi Senator and Governor decided to trade fists.
Chaos erupted when Sonko called Kidero a murderer and Kidero decided to teach him a lesson he will never forget.
Sonko appeared on the committee to table documents on land rates in Nairobi which he termed as illegal.
Nyamira Senator Kennedy Mong’are interjected Sonko’s presentation saying they were not coated with evidence.
Sonko rubbished his claim going on to reveal that the Nyamira Senator had been bribed by Governor Evans Kidero.
As if that wasn’t drama enough, Sonko claimed Kidero and his Chief of Staff were involved in the eviction and murder of a woman in Nairobi, going on to assert he had evidence to prove his claim.
Kidero couldn’t take it anymore from Sonko, he decided to shush the Nairobi Senator by throwing punches around.
The real physical confrontation was averted as members of the committee rushed to pull the two from each other.
