Digital content creator Lydia Wanjiru is taking beauty precautions to Olympic levels after her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) — so much so that she now travels curled up in the back seat of her car like a suspiciously flexible reptile, all in the name of safeguarding her freshly installed derrière.
The influencer, who recently invested heavily in resurrecting what she cheekily refers to as her “fallen soldiers,” has been forced into unusual sleeping-and-travelling positions to avoid putting even a gram of pressure on her high-value cargo.
One wrong move, and the whole project could reportedly deflate faster than a boda boda tyre on a rough Tongaren road.
Across social media, her fans have marvelled at both her commitment and her mobility, with some joking that she now sleeps like a dehydrated Moroccan lizard purely to protect her imported cosmetic sitting apparatus.

And of course, online observers aren’t letting the moment slip by quietly.
On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, Lydia shared a video showing exactly how delicate life has become five weeks post-op.
Filmed in a restaurant, she demonstrated her new sitting technique: a special BBL pillow wedged carefully under her, like a throne designed by an engineer who hates chairs.
“How I sit with my BBL pillow, five weeks post-op,” she captioned, as fans flooded her page with a mix of encouragement and pure entertainment.

She has been documenting every step of her transformation — from the swelling to the sitting to the post-op shuffle — giving her followers a front-row seat to the glamorous, inconvenient world of modern body sculpting.
In a Q&A session the day before, Lydia revealed that her makeover didn’t come cheap. The full package — liposuction, tummy tuck, and the headline act: the BBL — cost her nearly Ksh1.8 million.

She explained that the surgeries themselves were between Ksh1 million and Ksh1.2 million, but once you factor in pre-op consultations, medication, garments, massages, and the general upkeep of an upgraded behind, the subtotal climbs to the 1.8M mark.
“I had liposuction, a tummy tuck and BBL. The 3 procedures are 1M–1.2M (surgeries). But have around 1.8M to cover pre-op and post-op too,” she disclosed.

And judging by her new travel posture, every coin is being guarded with the seriousness of a national security operation.
