Mugithi and Gengetone artist Peter “Miracle Baby” has revealed his desire to transition into preaching and spreading the gospel following a prolonged battle with illness spanning over three months.

In an interview with KOM, the musician, known for his energetic performances, initiated proceedings with a prayer, emphasizing his newfound calling.

Miracle Baby expressed his intention to become a preacher, attributing it to a vow he made during his health struggles. Reflecting on his journey, which included medical complications, he affirmed his commitment to sharing the gospel.

Acknowledging the diverse forms of preaching, Miracle Baby highlighted his current lack of a church or physical space for the congregation. He hinted at utilizing his music as a platform for spreading spiritual messages.

“While I aspire to become a pastor and preach, I understand that preaching comes in various forms. At present, I don’t have a church or a designated venue for worship. Therefore, I may convey my message through music,” he explained.

Displaying unwavering faith, Miracle Baby expressed confidence that divine intervention would guide him towards establishing a church. He remained optimistic about the prospect of gathering believers once provided with a suitable location.

“I trust that if it’s God’s will, He will provide me with a space for establishing a church, and it will flourish. In the meantime, I’m kickstarting my mission through music,” he affirmed, citing his recent song “Ndi Mwihia” released in collaboration with his wife, Carol Katrue, as an example.

Reflecting on his health ordeal, Miracle Baby recounted experiencing stomach issues since 2018, with the condition deteriorating earlier this year, necessitating multiple surgeries within a month starting from January.
