Paula confirmed that Marioo has already paid Tsh100 million/Ksh5.8 million dowry to clear the way for their marriage.
Kajala’s daughter spoke about dowry payment during an interview with her mother.
In the video, Paula and her mother Kajala were standing hugging each other when the man asked her about the progress of her relationship with Marioo.
The man asked her if the dowry had already been settled, whereupon she replied with a shy smile that Marioo had already submitted a dowry of Tsh100 million.
“Tayari ametoa mahari milioni 100,” Paula answered the question while laughing with her mother and trying to hide their faces.
A while back, it was reported that Paula and Marioo were expecting their first child together but she suffered a miscarriage.
In an interview on Wasafi TV, Marioo did not confirm or deny reports that Paula had indeed suffered a miscarriage.
The artiste later opened up saying that he is not ready to talk about the issue involving his girlfriend Paula in the interview.
“Kusema ukweli kabisa, ukweli wangu kutoka Moyoni siko tayari kuzungumzia masuala kama hayo. Wakati mwingine tutaonana huko na tutazungumzia hilo, lakini tuseme inshallah,” he said.
Marioo added that he would really like to have a child regardless of gender and also said that Paula was ready to change her religion from Christianity to Islam.
