Diamond Platnumz has asked his signee Lavalava to stay away from the music scene for a while as he launches his new music project.

The Wasafi boss wrote this after discovering that Lavalava was the most popular artiste on the YouTube platform in Tanzania.

He jokingly asked the Wasafi signee to slow down a bit to allow him to get to the top after he released his new hit ‘My Baby’ featuring the Nigerian artiste Chike.

According to the screenshot that Diamond uploaded on his Insta story, the artist Lavalava is the biggest talk on the YouTube platform in Tanzania, thanks to his new hit ‘Tajiri’ which has given him life again after being quiet for a while.

Diamond’s song ‘My Baby’ was following in second place, making the artiste give what seemed like a request to Lavalava to give him a little more time so that he could take the lead in the video platform.

“Lavalava, hebu niache basi na mie nikae hapo namba moja… si tumekubaliana wenyewe kwa wenyewe Wasafi na tunaoheshimiana nao… mbona tena tunafanyiana hiyana wenyewe kwa wenyewe tajiri,” Diamond wrote.
