Akothee bitterly complained that the people who failed to attend her wedding are the same ones who desperately begged to be invited.

The controversial singer went on a ranting spree while opening her gifts during a session she streamed live on Facebook.

She lamented that the said people who begged to be invited to her wedding failed to show up after they saw her gift wish list.

“And next time when you ask to come to my wedding and you are SVP please make sure you come or you send the money equivalent to per head.

“That wedding was not two shillings for you to call me constantly you want an invitation letter and then you receive a physical invitation letter and then you see the gift wish list and then you just don’t turn up and you also do not send your apology so your seat was not covered and your food was not eaten,” Akothee ranted.

DJ Mo and his wife Size 8 are among celebrities who failed to attend Akothee’s wedding even though they were invited.

DJ Mo explained that his wife and he couldn’t attend Akothee’s wedding because they were not around and that by the time they came back, it was already too late.

“Watu was maswali tu. Yes, we were also invited… but we were not around…came back late,” DJ MO explained.
